We are appealing for witnesses after three men entered a One Stop store on Peartree Avenue yesterday (Monday, February 29) at around 6am and stole up to £1000 in cash.
The three men, all dressed in dark clothing with their faces covered made their way into the store and threatened staff before making off with money from the till.
One man was seen to be carrying a crowbar. No one was injured in the incident.
Detective Constable Jonathan Matthews from the Western Investigations Team said: “We are appealing to anyone who was on Peartree Road around this time who saw anything or anyone suspicious to come forward. We know it was still dark at this time, but perhaps you were on your way to work and saw these men? Please get in contact by calling 101 and quoting 44160084765.”
