Appeal for witnesses following aggravated burglary in Southampton

Police are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary in Southampton.
A man wearing a hooded top and carrying a crowbar forced his way into a house in Priory Road, threatening the 27-year-old man who answered the door, at 4pm on March 9.
Once inside he continued to make threats until the 27-year-old managed to run outside.
He was followed a short distance by a black car which had another two men inside, while the one inside the address made an untidy search upstairs.
The victim was uninjured and nothing appears to have been stolen.The offender who forced his way inside the property is described as:

  • White
  • Approximately 5ft 9ins
  • He was wearing a beanie hat, a black coat with the hood up, dark tracksuit bottoms and trainers with orange Nike ticks
