DESCRIPTION:Moral dilemmas facing politicians \nHaving opposed the invasion of Iraq and the renewal of the Trident programme under the Blair government\, \nAlan Whitehead\, MP for Southampton Test\, is well placed to talk about the conflicts that can arise between party loyalty and personal conviction. He now serves a party of the same name but with a very different complexion as a shadow minister of energy and climate change — in recognition\, no doubt\, of his strong commitment to renewable energy. As usual there will be ample time for questions and discussion after the break. \nWe are pleased that he has agreed to find time from a busy schedule to talk to us.
