SUMMARY:Views on Europe Public Debate at the University of Southampton\, 13 May at 5 pm
DESCRIPTION:The University is hosting ‘ Views on Europe’\, a public debate on the issue of the EU with speakers for and against remaining in the EU. This is to help inform their students\, and staff\, and also the wider community ahead of the EU Referendum on 23 June 2016. This event is open to all in the local community. \nThe debate is scheduled for Friday 13th May. Doors open at 5 pm and the event will start promptly at 5:15 pm for around an hour. \nThe speakers will be Dr Alan Whitehead MP and the Rt. Hon. Desmond Swayne MP (Minister for International Development). The event will take place in the Students’ Union\, The Cube\, Building 42\, Highfield Campus. The University is providing free drinks after the event for those who want to continue the discussion in the Bridge Bar. \nAttendees will need to register for the event by following the link below.
