Southampton City Libraries will be celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a wide range of free events, activities and family fun days! Activities are drop-in unless otherwise stated.
Here is what is happening at Portswood Library:-
- Jubilee train with Susmita Bhattacharya / Portswood Library / Monday 30 May / 11am to 12.30pm /Suitable for all ages
Join local author and artist, Susmita Bhattacharya on board the Jubilee train! With lots of exciting things to do including designing a Jubilee stamp, making a poem train, origami birds and lots of colouring.
- Coffee morning / Portswood Library / Saturday 4 June / 10.30am to 12.30pm
Join the staff and Friends of Portswood Library for tea, coffee, cake and a chat!
With celebrations coinciding with half-term we have plenty of drop-in craft activities themed to the Queen’s Jubilee. Suitable for ages 4+ and children must be accompanied by an adult or carer.
