International Women’s Day: Tuesday 8 March at 7.30 pm, a live event about women’s safety. More below

We have been passed information on the following event:
Tuesday 8th March is International Women’s Day. There will be an event about women’s safety where a live panel of speakers will discuss their experiences and perspectives as well as answering questions from the audience. This March also marks a year since Sarah Everard’s disappearance and the nationwide vigils that took place in commemoration of her life. The conversation surrounding women’s safety is as important as ever, particularly in Southampton, where sexual offences are the second highest in England.
The event is being held at 7.30 pm, at Mettricks, Guildhall, City Centre, but is also being live streamed on Facebook. You can find out more about it here:
May be a cartoon of one or more people and text that says "Reclaim The Streets for International Women's Day An evening to discuss women's safety with a live panel 08/03/2022 Mettricks, City centre"
