Operation Profit – Four arrests made after Southampton aggravated burglary

Police investigating an aggravated burglary at a flat on Lydgate Road in Southampton have made four arrests.

Officers were called to the flat shortly before 7am on Saturday, March 12.

A 17 year-old man from London was assaulted during the burglary. Nothing was taken and a 48 year-old man who was also in the flat at the time was not hurt.

The 17 year-old was taken to hospital to be treated for puncture wounds to his left thigh that were caused by an unknown object. He has since been released from hospital.

A 16-year-old boy, a 20-year-old man, a 22-year-old man and a 32-year-old man, all from Southampton remain in police custody. They have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and aggravated burglary.
