Will you test an innovative approach to publishing Council Statutory Notices?

Help us test an innovative approach to publishing council notices

We have just launched a new web portal that brings road closures and Licensing public notices into one place. This is part of a government pilot to try out innovative ways of publishing public notices. It means that you can now view the notices online and also sign up to automatically receive Stay Connected updates as soon as new notices are published.

We now need willing volunteers to sign up and help us test the system.

By signing up to email and/or text alerts you could be first to know about upcoming road closures, or if a pub near you is planning on extending its opening hours. Rather than waiting to read these in the local paper you will receive these official notices direct to your mobile phone or inbox as soon as they are published. You will also be able to view them online via the web portal.

Our pilot will run until the middle of October 2015, after which you will cease to receive the updates. The findings of the pilot will help inform government on the publishing of public notices in future.

Sign up to the Statutory Notices alerts via your subscriber preferences or by visiting the web portal and clicking the Stay Connected icon at the top of the page.
