“We are SO excited to announce that we will be unveiling our new in-house brewery and coffee roastery called Ascapart within Mettricks Portswood very soon 
Ascapart is led by industry pioneers Jimmy Hatherley as Head of Beer and Wilson Law Wai Shing as Head of Coffee creating a new and unique offering as the UK’s first combined craft brewery and speciality coffee roaster.
Named after the giant in Southampton’s ancient legend of Sir Bevis, Ascapart’s ethos are reflected within our motto of ‘Small Batch, Giant Heart’ and personifies Mettricks‘ commitment to quality and community.
We’ll be extending our opening hours across Guildhall, Portswood & Woolston Waterside where we will transition perfectly from oh so cosy daytime brunch spot to a vibrant craft beer and sourdough pizza haven.
We can’t wait to swing open our bright yellow doors for you to experience it! Stay tuned for more announcements
