Message from the University of Southampton – Free recycling bags available for students

The University of Southampton and its Students’ Union are working together to increase the amount of recycling taking place across the city.

We know a lot of our students come from different areas of the UK that may have different recycling requirements. To reduce bin contamination and to help students improve their recycling efforts, we have commissioned recycling bags that specify what items can and cannot be recycled, in line with Southampton City Council’s recycling scheme.
