Letter to Southampton City Council Planning Dept – 22 May 2017
You will be aware under the terms of the amended Localism Act 2011 that… “where there is an outstanding Enforcement a Council may decline to determine a retrospective Planning application” (please see page 2, para 1 of the Ministerial reply attached) and further that it… may not be Appealed. Accordingly we ask for this to be done rather than facilitate an unwarranted and unnecessary further protracted planning process.
I additionally attach a formal letter of objection and related correspondence, in addition to the three previous Appeal Decisions already sent to you.
If you have any further queries or wish to proceed differently to that provided for in the Act as referred to, I ask to be thus notified well before the expiry date of the application.
