Information on Wilder Southampton, the partnership project, and a questionnaire
Posted by Highfield Residents' Association on Feb 11, 2023 in Wilder Southampton | 0 commentsWilder Southampton Wilder Southampton is a partnership project between Southampton City Council, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust and is part of Nextdoor Nature, a project that is bringing communities together to help nature flourish where they live and work.
Together they are on a mission to create a Wilder Southampton, where wildlife is thriving, and everyone benefits from a healthy environment. We want to see more wildlife friendly areas and small outdoor spaces across Southampton that are created and supported by the community. Wilder Southampton aims to bring people together to find creative, community-led ways to ensure nature can thrive across the city. The council says residents can email wildersouthampton@hiwwt.org.uk if they have an idea to support greening our city.
There is also a link to a questionnaire as Wilder Southampton are really keen to get responses from people who are not particularly interested in nature, or who are, but are not that involved at the moment.
