An increase in incidents in our area recently garage/car break-ins and attempted; prowlers with bolt cutters etc

The manager of the HRA Crime information sharing WhatsApp Group spoke to a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) about the car break-ins/attempted car break-ins in our area plus incidents in Orchards Way and Oakmount Triangle. She said “encouraging people to report it is what we need”. She will do a patrol of the area.

Garage broken into and several reports of garage doors being tried – Oakmount Triangle

Garage broken into at 3am on 30 January 2024. Perpertrators returned at 3.40am. Nothing taken – things of value were chained up. Owners commented that the police were very helpful. Following the above, there were several reports of garage doors being tried on night of 29/30 January and people captured on various cctvs on different driveways.
