We understand from the Daily Echo that Bassett Avenue will be fully closed between its junction with Memorial Roundabout and its junction with the Avenue/Burgess Road tomorrow, Monday, October 28, between the hours of 10am and 2pm, for tree safety work. The works are due to be completed by October 29.
We understand that these works will only impact drivers travelling on Bassett Avenue between the hours of 10am and 2pm. A diversion will be put in place by the Council which takes residents onto Winchester Road, Hill Lane and Burgess Road.
