Just a reminder, it is Southampton Film Week this week with some brilliant screenings. The full programme is available here.
A highlight for me would be the screening if the 1926 Buster Keaton movie “The General” in the Guildhall, accompanied by Donald Mackenzie who will provide a captivating, authentic soundtrack on the Southampton Guildhall Compton Organ. This organ belonging to SCC and is one of the best examples in the country, Seeing a large screen film and hearing it the way it was originally intended, is an absolutely amazing experience.
