June is upon us and as someone who enjoys summer gardens and the abundance of flowers and colour we hope you too can enjoy the summer flowers wherever you are.

Men’s Meets
For all men, caring for someone living with dementia. We would love you to join us for a walk and a catch up. We start at the Cowherds on Southampton Common, amble for half an hour, and then return to the pub for a drink and time to hang out. Our next meet up is 1-3pm Tuesday 3rd June. Singing By Heart
Hedge End Salvation Army, White’s Way, SO30 2GL
11.00-12.45 with light refreshments after. School term time only.
Singing by Heart is an hour session singing a mixture of Christian songs and well-known secular songs that people with dementia will know and be able to interact with. It includes a Bible verse before each song and one line prayer after each song and ends each session with The Lord’s Prayer. Contact: lynne.sillence@gmail.com or 07974 372207.

Every 1st & 3rd Tuesday each month, from 2-4pm. Join us for activities, cuppa, cake and chat and some live music with Jacquie and Steve.
Thornhill Memory Café
Medwall Court, Tatwin Road, Thornhill, SO19 6JS
First Tuesday of every month, from 2-4pm with Admiral Nurse present. This month Jenny will take us through our Memory Box on the theme of Sport. Taking part is optional, you are welcome to come for just a tea and chat if you prefer.

Community Lunch: At Midday. Food varies between jacket potatoes, ploughman’s, quiche, soup, breakfast rolls and pizza to name a few. Donations welcome.
