University of Southampton End of Year Waste Collection – list of roads confirmed for extra general waste collection on 5 July 2025

The University of Southampton has funded an additional waste collection to tackle student impacts in the city. This year’s collection will take place on Saturday 5 July.

The University has worked with local resident associations to draw up the list of roads to be focused on.

The University and its Students’ Union will also be encouraging charitable donations and food bank donations throughout June to help reduce the additional waste that is generated when University students living in shared households move out of their accommodation.
