Good Morning KINS
I am writing to provide an update on the protest activity that occurred on Friday 29th August 2025.
The protest drew a number of attendees including both demonstrators and counter-protestors. Police were present throughout to ensure public safety and facilitate a peaceful protest. The event remained calm and orderly; no arrests were made, and there was no need for the use of other police powers. The protest concluded around 20:00 hours.
We continue to monitor the situation closely and remain in contact with community representatives to support a balanced and safe approach to any future gatherings.
At this stage it is anticipated that protests at this location are likely to continue on a weekly basis. A proportionate policing plan remains in place, and we will continue to work closely with yourselves and the local community to manage these events safely and effectively.
