As the days get shorter, the list of things happening across the city get longer so do check out all that’s going on next week. Don’t forget to book your place for our afternoon Tea Dance on Tuesday 7th October and if you know of anyone for whom our Bereavement Course would be helpful, send that information onto them.
We are now taking bookings for our next Carers Course starting in January 2026, in Maybush. More information below.

Book your places on our Tea Dance on Tuesday 7th October at St. Denys Church Centre. Come along and join in the dancing or just listen to the music and enjoy afternoon tea. We will be raising funds for Caraway and the event will be dementia friendly. For more information contact Caraway.

New Bereavement Course
Pippa and Ros invite you to join a small group to explore and understand your grief alongside others. Due to illness our starting date has been changed to Tuesday 4th November, 10.30am to 12.30pm, weekly until December.

Singing By Heart
Hedge End Salvation Army, White’s Way SO30 2GL
11.00-12.45 with light refreshments after. Singing by Heart is an hour session singing a mixture of Christian songs and well-known secular songs that people with dementia will know and be able to interact with. Lordswood Memory Café

1st Wednesday each month, from 2-4pm. With tea, coffee, cake and friendship. All are welcome whether diagnosed or not, do come along and meet with others going through similar experiences. Community Lunch: At Midday. Food varies between jacket potatoes, ploughman’s, quiche, soup, breakfast rolls and pizza to name a few. Donations welcome.
