Very good news! The University’s Avenue Campus student accommodation proposals

Highfield Residents’ Association has just received very good news about the Avenue Campus student accommodation proposals. We have been informed that the University “will not be progressing with the option to develop halls of residences at the Avenue at this time.”

We have also been informed that South Stoneham and Connaught Halls have now been identified as the preferable sites to develop the University’s student accommodation provision, and the planning applications will be submitted this week with a view to creating an additional 1,100 beds to meet their student first-year undergraduate needs.
