Hampshire Dementia Strategy Survey
This is now live, and Hampshire County Council ask for your support in completing it. I know, yet another survey, but it is only through people like you, living with dementia, filling in these that will help to shape the support services in the future. So if you’ve got a few minutes click on the link below which will take you to the survey page on the website.

Starting in April, Chai and Chat will be moving to The Wickets Care Home just off the Avenue. Meeting the last Wednesday of the month. All are welcome, residents and non. Contact Nikki if you’d like to attend.

A reminder that ageuk in Southampton have many resources to help those living with dementia. Information on their Padwell Road Day Centre, and benefits advice:
Age UK Southampton offers free and comprehensive information on a wide range of subjects affecting older people – from Pension Credit to care packages. They say “We can help you identify the problem, explain the choices available and help you decide what you want to do. We may be able to provide individual support if you need further help to resolve the problem.” Do check out their website for more information.

The Ageing Well Fayre….Save the Date! Saturday May 9th 1 till 4 pm at Avenue St Andrews Church Hall
Join us – there will be stands on nature, exercise, health and care. We will have Uke Box Glory, a Ukelele Band playing, listen or join in with Kim, our Singer, there’ll be games for children and afternoon tea to enjoy. A great afternoon of fun. Please join us! Free entry.

Every 1st Wednesday each month, from 2-4pm. With tea, coffee, cake and friendship. All are welcome whether diagnosed or not, do come along and meet with others going through similar experiences. Omega Café: Drop in anytime from 10 until 12. Free tea, coffee, cake, and chat.
Armchair exercise: Starts at 10am for about 25 minutes. Led by a qualified instructor; light exercise whilst still sitting! Donations welcome.
Community Lunch: At Midday. Food varies between jacket potatoes, ploughman’s, quiche, soup, breakfast rolls and pizza to name a few. Donations welcome.
