Another month flies by, but it’s not finished yet! Reframing Dementia meets on Monday, Chai and Chat moves to its new venue on Wednesday and we hope you’ve got Saturday 9th May in your diary for our Ageing Well Fayre at St. Andrews URC on The Avenue, we’d love to see you there. Not too late to book a place at our annual gathering on Monday 11th May to come and learn how to keep spiritually strong when caring for older people. More information on all these below.

Reframing Dementia
Meets Monday, 27th April. A safe place for those who have recently received a diagnosis of dementia. More details above or contact Karen or Dave for further information. You can just turn up on the day.

The Ageing Well Fayre, Saturday May 9th – 1 till 4 pm at Avenue St Andrews Church Hall
Do come and join us – there will be stands on nature, exercise, health and care – how to age well in Southampton. We will also have Uke Box Glory, a Ukelele Band playing, listen or join in with Kim-Roberta, our Singer, there’ll be games for children and afternoon tea to enjoy. A great afternoon of fun. Please join us! Free entry.

Singing By Heart
4th Monday of the month at Hedge End Salvation Army, White’s Way, SO30 2GL.
11.00am-12.45pm with light refreshments after. Singing by Heart is an hour session singing a mixture of Christian songs and well-known secular songs that people with dementia will know and be able to interact with. It includes a Bible verse before each song and one line prayer after each song and ends each session with The Lord’s Prayer. Contact lynne.sillence@gmail.com or 07974 372207.
