The University of Southampton Voices Choir (USV) starts rehearsals again this Wednesday 23 September at the Turner Sims Concert Hall from 1.10pm to 1.50pm. This is a Community Choir and all are welcome

This term, USV will be performing ‘The Fiddle and the Drum’ which “is an overview of how Folk Music has inspired composers, collectors and arrangers over the generations. There are songs from the English, Scottish and American traditions: story songs and anti war songs, including a powerful arrangement of Joni Mitchell’s enduringly prescient The Fiddle and the Drum. Arrangements by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Gustav Holst and contemporary folk artists, John Tams and Lady Maisery” and Choir Master – Harvey Brough.

The USV performance will take place at the Turner Sims Concert Hall at 7.30pm on Friday 11 December!
