“Balfour Beatty is working in partnership with Southampton City Council to manage the highways service across Southampton. We are writing to advise that our team will be working in the Highfield area to undertake highway and drainage surveys.

These works will take place within the carriageway and will take place overnight to reduce the impact on people’s journeys. Our works are due to start on Monday 12th October for 4 nights from 8pm – 6am. To ensure the safety of the public and our team temporary lights will be positioned at the relevant location whilst the investigative works are undertaken.

The team will start work at the junction of Highfield Lane and Brookvale Road and continue to work systematically on the following roads:

Church Lane
Brookvale Road
Abbotts Way
Russell Place.

We would like to apologise in advance for the delays that may be experienced whilst our works take place and for the disruption that properties close to the work are likely to experience including temporary disturbances such noise from the machinery being used along with flashing lights and reversing sirens.

Access to properties will be maintained at all times, our team will be available on site and will help to facilitate any deliveries that you may have.”
