Land behind 124,126,128 Upper Shaftesbury Avenue – to knock down an existing garage and build a bungalow fronting Kitchener Road – essentially garden grabbing.
Planning Inspectorate Appeal dismissed. HRA had submitted an objection to the appeal. Dismissed on the main issues:
1) The impact of the proposal on the character and appearance of the area
2) The impact of the proposal on the living conditions of the occupiers of 3) Nos. 124 – 128 Upper Shaftesbury Avenue, having regard to outlook impacts and the provision of private outdoor living space.
