Southampton National Park City – January 2025 Updates: This includes information on the ‘Urban Wild on the Common 2025 Event’, from 11am on Sunday 1st June, and how to register

This event will be a “unique Southampton-wide celebration of nature, community, and collaboration”… and … “is the final event of the wider Urban Wild festival which aims to showcase the beauty and diversity of Southampton’s green and blue spaces, whilst connecting people to the natural world and each other. Park City and other organising partners, the festival aims are to:

Connect People with Nature

Promote Community and Environmental Stewardship

Raise Awareness of Local Action for Climate and Biodiversity.

This FREE event will consist of stallholders, vendors, workshops, performances, talks and activities suitable for all ages. It will take place from 11am on Southampton Common, with performances and talks running into the evening. It is expected to attract an estimated 1000 – 1500 visitors. “
