A couple of things to bring to your attention this week, a FREE creative workshop at MAST Mayflower Studio on Friday 14th February, you need to reserve you place via the website link we’ve included.
Also we’re delighted to announce a new Memory Cafe starting in Townhill Park on Monday 17th February. If this is your area then book the date in your diary and the team look forward to welcoming their first guests!

Singing By Heart
Hedge End Salvation Army, White’s Way, SO30 2GL.
11.00-12.45 with light lunch after.
Singing by Heart is an hour session singing a mixture of Christian songs and well-known secular songs that people with dementia will know and be able to interact with. Donations only for meal that is followed by a brief devotion including a hymn.

Omega Café: Drop in anytime from 10 until 12. Free tea, coffee, cake, and chat.
Armchair exercise: Starts at 10am for about 25 minutes. Led by a qualified instructor; light exercise whilst still sitting! Donations welcome.
Community Lunch: At Midday. Food varies between jacket potatoes, ploughman’s, quiche, soup, breakfast rolls and pizza to name a few. Donations welcome.

Southampton Park Walk
Meet @ the Hawthorns Café, SO15 7NN, Southampton Common at 9am. The meet point is by the start of park run between 2 oak trees close to Hawthorns but not outside it, look for the steward in high vis jacket labelled “Park Walker”. All Welcome! For a gentle 5km walk around the Common, many go to Hawthorns Café for a coffee and chat after.
