I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I wanted to provide you with an update regarding recent activity in Portswood, Southampton.
On 21 November, a protest took place outside the Highfield House Hotel, attended by both protestors and counter-protestors. A police presence remained in place throughout to ensure public safety and uphold lawful protest rights.
One individual was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence after their behaviour fell outside the scope of protected speech. The matter remains under investigation.
The event concluded without significant disorder.
