Police Alert from Outer Avenue Residents’ Association

Police Alert sent to OARA (Outer Avenue Residents’ Association – one of our sister Residents’ Association) – from their local police contact:

“We have a report from a person who describes being approached by an unknown female who claimed to be a victim of domestic abuse residing in a safe house and in need of assistance.

This was a scam.  She has used false identities, including claims to be a social worker and police officer. So just to make the community aware to be careful as this may put some members, especially the elderly, in a vulnerable position.
