A dispersal order has been issued after reports of groups of people drinking and harassing others on the street.
Hampshire police have put a dispersal order in place in Portswood following concerns from residents and business owners about groups gathering, drinking, and harassing people.
The Section 34 dispersal order will cover Portswood Road and adjoining roads.
The order started at 9am today and runs through to 8pm Sunday.

It means anyone involved in, or likely to be involved in, anti-social behaviour can be told to leave the area.
If they don’t, or if they return while the order is in effect, they could be arrested.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: “We are committed to addressing issues like this, which have a considerable impact on local residents, and will continue efforts with partners to find longer term solutions as well.”
