Posted by Highfield Residents' Association on Oct 25, 2025 in News | 0 comments“Good morning,
I am now able to confirm that a Map of the route for the protest on Sunday is shortly going to be shared on Social Media.
Below is a copy of the handout that will be provided on the day.
Our current response includes:
- Additional officers and resources coordinated by our Operations Planning Team to ensure an appropriate and proportionate policing presence
- A dedicated engagement plan led by Inspector Yozanne Richards, focusing on maintaining open lines of communication with community stakeholders
- Community patrols on the day, with officers focusing on key areas. Our aim is to visit as many key locations as possible, we fully understand the importance of this to reassure communities, however please be aware this may be subject to change depending on the dynamics of the protest as it unfolds.
We remain committed to ensuring public safety, facilitating peaceful protest and minimising disruption, and we will continue to monitor developments closely between now and Sunday.
If you have any immediate concerns or witness anything that requires urgent attention, please do not hesitate to contact us via 999 in an emergency, or 101 for non-emergency matters.
Thank you again for your continued support and engagement.

I will provide a further update post the event on Monday.
Kindest Regards
Chief Inspector 20624 Charlie Ilderton
