A few extras to tell you about this week, see below. We’d love to see you at the Ageing Well afternoon on Saturday 9th May, lots of information available and fun to be had. Thrive Club, run by Walfinch, have their free Tai Chai exercise class on Friday in Woolston, and last chance this weekend to do the survey for Hampshire County Council. Reframing Dementia
Meets Monday, 13th April. A safe place for those who have recently received a diagnosis of dementia. More details above or contact Karen or Dave for further information. You can just turn up on the day.

Men’s Meets
For all men, caring for someone living with dementia. We would love you to join us for a walk and a catch up. We will meet at the Cowherds on the Common at 1pm on Tuesday 14th April, for a short stroll, back to the Cowherds for some lunch and chat and should be finished by 3pm. Hampshire Dementia Strategy Survey
This is now live, and Hampshire County Council ask for your support in completing it. I know, yet another survey, but it is only through people like you, living with dementia, filling in these that will help to shape the support services in the future. So if you’ve got a few minutes click on the link below which will take you to the survey page on the website. It closes on Sunday.

Singing By Heart
2nd Monday of the month at Hedge End Salvation Army, White’s Way, SO30 2GL.
11.00-12.45 with light lunch after. School term time only.
Singing by Heart is an hour session singing a mixture of Christian songs and well-known secular songs that people with dementia will know and be able to interact with. Every 3rd Wednesday of the month, 2-4pm. Join us at this dementia friendly café. A chance to relax and chatter with other attendees. Armchair exercise: Starts at 10am for about 25 minutes. Led by a qualified instructor; light exercise whilst still sitting! Donations welcome.
Community Lunch: At Midday. Food varies between jacket potatoes, ploughman’s, quiche, soup, breakfast rolls and pizza to name a few. Donations welcome.
