Hi All
The autumn term for schools begins next week as does our September programmes for all our memory cafes. Next week we have St. Denys cafe having a go at calligraphy, Thornhill has a Pharmacist visiting and Lordswood open this month’s memory box.
There’s also a few extras to tell you about, our Living Well with Dementia group starting on Wednesday, our Course for all those caring for someone living with dementia starts soon, and do book your place to join us for our Tea Dance on 6th October, always a fun afternoon.

Have you been recently diagnosed with dementia? An opportunity for you to come and share with others about what this means for you and learn how you can live well with your dementia. This group will start on Wednesday 2nd September, 10.30am – 12 noon and continue to meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. We have our next Course for Carers starting in September at Sholing. If you are caring for someone who has recently received a diagnosis of dementia then we invite you to come along to these seven sessions. For more information check our website. To reserve a place please email Ros or call the Caraway phone, 07535 164014, leave a message and we’ll call you back. If you can’t make this course but are interested in our next one, this will start in January 2027.

Carers Group
1st Tuesday of each month, 6.30-8.30pm at Sholing Salvation Army Centre, 93 North East Road, Sholing, SO19 8AF.
A group for any unpaid carer to drop in – just enjoy a cuppa and chat or find out more information on what’s available for carers. It’s all very relaxed, just a small donation of 50p for your cuppa and a biscuit. More details from Debbie.
