Here is a message from Cllr Savage on the Litter Pick that was organised for yesterday, Sunday 13 April 2025 by the three Portswood Ward Councillors: Cllr Barbour, Cllr Finn and Cllr Savage:

“A great turnout for the inaugural Portswood Central Community Litter Pick. So many people came along this morning and around 15 bags of waste were collected from Belmont, Westridge, Osborne S. and Lawn Roads, including the play park. The best thing was the warm conversations between local people meeting for perhaps the first time, tidying up local roads as part of a community.
