HRA@50 – A Year of Celebrations: The first event is a guided walk at 11.30am on 24 January 2026 around the Green Flag award winning Portswood Rec!

We are in the early stages of planning members’ events for every month of 2026. They will all be local and we aim to involve other local organisations, community opportunities and draw upon the expertise of others. This will include – walks and talks, history, sport and socials. Some events will be free and some will be entry by ticket. We look forward to your support and involvement.
The first event for HRA Members will be a guided walk around Green Flag award winning Portswood Rec. on Saturday 24 January led by Garth and Linnet. Refreshments available. Meet at the flag pole at the Grosvenor Rd entrance at 11:00h. This event is somewhat weather dependent, but the rain doesn’t hurt you if you are appropriately dressed!. More details to follow in due course.
