“Join us on Saturday, 14th September 2024, at the Southampton Sports & Recreation Centre for an exciting Open Day from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM.

We’re proud to showcase our newly upgraded facilities, thanks to a £36 million investment, designed to benefit and engage the entire community. Whether you’re passionate about sports, fitness, or recreation, this is a perfect opportunity to explore everything we have to offer. Be part of the celebration and discover how our enhanced spaces can support your active lifestyle!

At the Open Day, you’ll have the chance to experience our state-of-the-art facilities for free! These include:

Complimentary access to our brand-new gym – featuring 200+ Techno gym stations (no booking required)

Family Free Swim sessions from 9:30 – 11:00 AM and 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM. Please book your slot by emailing: southamptonsport@soton.ac.uk – first come first served.

Explore the new bouldering & climbing wall, discover the variety of fitness classes available, and tour the facilities with a member of staff.

Café opens from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offering a vibrant seating area and a relaxed atmosphere.
