Message from Cllr Savage: IMPORTANT: QUAY2000

There was a lengthy closure yesterday of Horseshoe bridge access to Thomas Lewis Way, due to a large diesel spillage.

The diesel presented significant safety issues and crews have been working overnight to make various sections of the road safe. The route for Quay2000 residents was open as of 6am this morning. There is still more clean-up work to do. For this reason, the route between Horseshoe Bridge and Thomas Lewis Way will be closed again this evening (11/7/25) from 6pm until 4am tomorrow (12/7/25).
