We’re delighted to see new Memory Cafes starting across the city so do look out for those each week and pop along if you can to support these new teams.

Singing By Heart

11.00-12.45 with lunch after. School term time only.
Singing by Heart is an hour session singing a mixture of Christian songs and well-known secular songs that people with dementia will know and be able to interact with. More information from lynne.sillence@gmail.com or 07974 372207
Townhill Park Memory Café
Townhill Farm Community Centre, Wessex Road, Townhill Park, SO18 3RA.
1-3pm, meets the 3rd Monday of the month. You’ll always be sure of a warm welcome, with a cuppa and cake. Time to chat and different activities each month. This month bring your favourite photo of someone important for you to share.
Sholing Memory Café
St. Mary’s Church Hall, St. Monica Road, Southampton, SO19 8ES
1-3pm, usually every 4th Monday but a week early this month due to the Bank Holiday next week.

WEDNESDAYS
Omega Café: Drop in anytime from 10 until 12. Free tea, coffee, cake, and chat.
Armchair exercise: Starts at 10am for about 25 minutes. Led by a qualified instructor; light exercise whilst still sitting! Donations welcome.
Community Lunch: At Midday. Food varies between jacket potatoes, ploughman’s, quiche, soup, breakfast rolls and pizza to name a few. Donations welcome.

Visit the Pavilion in the Park at 1, Kingfisher Road, Eastleigh SO50 9LH for a bespoke cycling experience. Choose from a range of bikes including wheelchair accessible bikes, recumbents and power assisted bikes and explore the Dragonfly Trails around the beautiful parkland of Fleming Park. Cost from £5.
