As we begin a new month check out the dates for this week’s Memory Cafés, We hope you’re able to join us.
A reminder to check with event contacts in case details have changed since we received the information, especially with the Bank Holidays this month. Caraway is hosting its annual conference on Monday 19th May and this year we are looking to equip all those who are carers, whether in a professional capacity or as a partner or friend. If you think this day would be helpful to you then book your place here or if you want more information do email us.

Men’s Meets
For all men, caring for someone living with dementia. We would love you to join us for a walk and a catch up. We start at the Cowherds on Southampton Common, amble for half an hour, and then return to the pub for a drink and time to hang out. Our next meet up is 1-3pm Tuesday 6th May. Every 1st & 3rd Tuesday each month, from 2-4pm. Join us for activities, cuppa, cake and chat.
Thornhill Memory Café
Medwall Court, Tatwin Road, Thornhill, SO19 6JS
First Tuesday of every month, from 2-4pm with Admiral Nurse present. This month come and take part in a ‘Music and Movement’ session – great for our mental and physical wellbeing. Taking part is optional, you are welcome to come for just a tea and chat if you prefer.

Every 1st Wednesday each month, from 2-4pm. With tea, coffee, cake and friendship. All are welcome whether diagnosed or not, do come along and meet with others going through similar experiences. We will enjoy some live music with Brian Budden. For more details contact Sally on 07712 182266.

Usually on the 2nd Tuesday of the month 5.45pm for a three course meal at 6pm prompt. You need to book by the previous Sunday (11th May) signing Menu on Café or Car Park notice boards or ring Liz on 07789 501249 by that Sunday to check and book a place. Donations only for meal that is followed by a brief devotion including a hymn.

Armchair exercise: Starts at 10am for about 25 minutes. Led by a qualified instructor; light exercise whilst still sitting!
