Check out which cafés are meeting this week and if you’re able, do join in the picnic at Templeton Place at Rownhams, all are welcome, more details below. And if you’ve not checked it out yet do support our team who are doing a half marathon visiting care homes across the city, either join them or sponsor them!

Singing By Heart

11.00-12.45 with lunch after. School term time only.
Singing by Heart is an hour session singing a mixture of Christian songs and well-known secular songs that people with dementia will know and be able to interact with. More information from lynne.sillence@gmail.com or 07974 372207
Townhill Park Memory Café
Townhill Farm Community Centre, Wessex Road, Townhill Park, SO18 3RA.
1-3pm, meets the 3rd Monday of the month. You’ll always be sure of a warm welcome, with a cuppa and cake. Time to chat and different activities each month. This month we will be looking at historic art.
Shirley Memory Café
Make & Brew Café, St James Road, SO15 5HE
From 2-4pm, come along to enjoy some tea and cake with others living with dementia. Gary Matthews will be with us to lead some singing and one of our Admiral Nurses will be joining us too.

Armchair exercise: Starts at 10am for about 25 minutes. Led by a qualified instructor; light exercise whilst still sitting! Donations welcome.
Community Lunch: At Midday. Food varies between jacket potatoes, ploughman’s, quiche, soup, breakfast rolls and pizza to name a few. Donations welcome.
