The lovely summer weather continues as do Memory Cafes across the city this August, so check out the email below to see what’s happening across the city.

New Bereavement Course
Pippa and Ros invite you to join a group to explore and understand your grief alongside others. Starting date Monday September 23rd 2025, 10.30am to 12.30pm, every 2 weeks

Buffet and Bowls
Unpaid Carers Support Southampton, in collaboration with Communicare, have their next Buffet and Bowls session on 28th August 2025, 12.30pm – 3pm at Atherley Bowling Club. To book your place click here!

From 2-4pm, 3rd Monday each month.come along to enjoy some tea and cake with others living with dementia. Uke Box Glory will be joining us this week for some musical entertainment.
Sholing Memory Café
St. Mary’s Church Hall, St. Monica Road, Southampton, SO19 8ES
1-3pm, usually every 4th Monday but a week earlier this month due to the Bank Holiday.

Townhill Park Memory Café
Townhill Farm Community Centre, Wessex Road, Townhill Park, SO18 3RA.
1-3pm, meets the 3rd Monday of the month. You’ll always be sure of a warm welcome, with a cuppa and cake. Time to chat and different activities each month. This month we have a Beach Day! Beach games, sand, sandcastles, hankie hats, ice cream, sea shells and more! More information from Jo Frost.
Woolston Memory Cafe – NEW **
Bishops Crescent Community Room, Woolston, SO19 2FH. Every 3rd Monday of the month, 1-3pm. Join us at this dementia friendly café. Come for fun and friendship, support and help, kindness and understanding, activities and entertainment. For more information contact Jo Frost.

Singing for the Brain
Fortnightly on a Thursday from 1.45 to 3.15pm at Thornhill Baptist Church, Thornhill Park Road, Southampton, SO18 5TR.
