The Urban Wild Festival kicks off tomorrow, Monday 26 May, with the St Denys Carnival! 11am to 3 pm at St Denys Community Centre!

“Urban Wild starts TOMORROW!
Come along to St Denys Community Centre for the start of St Denys Carnival, which has chosen the theme of ‘Nature’ to link with Urban Wild Week! You can also visit Bitterne Station Community Hub to see the installation of the ‘Urban Flock’ exhibition from 11am-1pm, with the grand opening from 8pm!
If you’d rather see some real nature up close, not just artwork, there is the ‘Wild Garden’ open house, where you can visit an urban wildlife garden and learn how to make your garden more suitable for nature! Or you can take a stroll round Shirley Pond Park and take part in various activities from 2-4pm. Check out all the day’s events here:”
