“Good morning everyone,
The Friends of Portswood Rec are delighted to announce this year’s fundraiser quiz evening. The date is Tuesday 1 April 2025, the time is 7.00 for 7.30 (finishing around 9.45) and the venue is Trago Lounge in Portswood. You can look forward to enjoying:
– cash prizes for the top teams
– a raffle with vouchers donated by local businesses
– a fiendishly fun quiz like no other
… while showing your support for the best Rec in town!
Entry is £5pp, collected on the night (cash for this please, also for the raffle). We suggest teams of between 4 and 6. Pre-booking a table is strongly recommended using Trago’s booking enquiry system. (Please be ready to provide a card number. No money is taken up front; this is only in theory for a no-show.) If your team is less than six, select the “6” option on the online form and use the additional requests box at the end to let them know the actual number.
If you’re planning to eat beforehand, you may want to time your arrival a little before 7. (Insider tip: as well as the standard menu, this is Tapas Tuesday at Trago)
