Roadworks and contraflow on Thomas Lewis Way for 4.5 months. Expect major disruption

Be aware, as the signs have gone up at some point today, and i cannot find any quality information online from SCC or Highways, only on the SSEN website (which is especially sparse!). There will be contraflow along Thomas Lewis Way for 4.5 months from 15th March until the end of July 2026.
Their cable route shows the works as extending all the way from Portswood Road north of St Deny’s, through the lights at St Deny’s (onward to Cobden Bridge), and ending at the lights by Horseshoe Bridge just before the Empress Road Industrial Estate. It also says
St Deny’s will be closed completely for 2 weeks from 25th May and 7th June
These things are often poorly signed, poorly planned and executed, and done without consultation with local MPs, and we all know how any disruption on one of Southampton’s key routes impacts traffic across the entire city.”
