Unrest in Portswood – Portswood Ward Councillor initiated events

There are some Portswood Ward Councillor initiated events coming up, in the wake of the unrest on Tuesday 2 June, that you may wish to attend:

1. Walk from Waitrose on Sunday 7^th June, meeting at 11am, to the two local gurdwaras and then continuing to the Peace Fountain;
2. Peace March from the Peace Fountain on Sunday 28^th June with a number of faith leaders and community leaders, meeting at 12.30pm and finishing at 4.30pm.

There has also been a discussion about doing a community cohesion event in September. More on this to follow.
