A very disturbing incident – on the corner of Portswood Broadway and Westridge Road

Around 3.45pm on Thursday 20 March 2025, there was a disturbing incident on the corner of Portswood Broadway and Westridge Road. A bare chested man was shouting at people, he was walking out into the road then throwing bricks into the road and hitting his head with a brick. He was extremely disturbed. The person witnessing this called 999 and reported the incident. Later he was asked to make a statement.

Could this be linked to the incident reported earlier of possible ‘zoned out drug users’ sitting outside Cha Sha in Portswood?
