Anti-social behaviour incidents – around Khartoum Road, Highfield Hall and the Avenue Campus

One of our members has written to various contacts at the University, the HRA and Councillors about persistent ASB incidents round Khartoum Rd, Highfield Hall and The Avenue Campus, which are becoming unbearable and keeping them awake at night. They start around 10pm ish and last sometimes until 2am. He suspects it might be students, although other people/youngsters are also in that area.  He has used the email: local2u@soton.ac.uk to contact the University (among others). This is the main email address for reporting student behaviour.

He was advised to also contact the police and to do this each time an incident occurs so that they keep patrolling the area. It was suggested that the best way to report these incidents is online https://www.hampshire.police.uk/ as this allows videos and pictures to be unloaded, or 101 if not. He could also phone 999 when the incidents are actually happening, which is something not everyone is aware of.
