Anti-social behaviour – Portswood High Street

Reported to Community Safety and the Police on Friday 2 May 2025:

– 2 men with open cans of alcohol sitting on the steps next to October Books;

– a group of men in the parking area of the former Blockbusters building with open cans of alcohol and lots of trolleys with bedding and other items;

– at least one chair abandoned near to October Books which looked as though it had been used by a street attached person as there were some possessions around it;

– a group of men making quite a lot of noise (heard from the other side of the street) sitting outside the entrance to Farm Foods – possibly street attached/ street drinkers.

Response received from Community Safety on Sunday 4 May 2025 that they would send someone to investigate on Tuesday 6 May.
