Very dangerous driving incident – on Highfield Lane at the mini roundabout at junction with Church Lane

One of the WhatsApp Group members was being driven down Highfield Lane towards Portswood Road on Monday 26 May 2025. At the mini roundabout at the junction with Church Lane, a van (in a photo he sent to the police) overtook his car at the junction by going on the wrong side of the road on the wrong side of the roundabout at a difficult blind intersection. The van accelerated away towards Portswood at high speed (the speed on this part of Highfield Lane is 20mph)

The police agreed to write a firm letter to the registered keeper.
