Purpose Built Student Accommodation – Portswood Centre

At the Planning and Rights of Way Panel Meeting held on 16 December, conditional approval was given for the Planning Application 25/00687/FUL/ made by the company Fusion, for Purpose Built Student Accommodation on the Portswood Shopping Centre site.  Approval was secured by the narrowest of margins – the casting vote of the Chair, who had to vote twice due to the absence of a panel member for ill health reasons.  It is anticipated that work will begin on site early in the new year.
